Sponsorship Outreach Coordinator (Unpaid)
Position Overview:
The Sponsorship Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and securing sponsorships for InventHER events and programs. This role involves researching potential sponsors, initiating outreach, and fostering relationships to create mutually beneficial partnerships. Working closely with the Events and Development teams, the Sponsorship Outreach Coordinator will develop compelling sponsorship proposals and manage ongoing communications with sponsors to ensure alignment with InventHER’s mission and goals. The ideal candidate is persuasive, highly organized, and experienced in relationship building and sales or sponsorship outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
Sponsor Research & Outreach: Identify and research potential sponsors that align with InventHER’s mission. Craft tailored outreach strategies and proposals to engage and secure sponsorships.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the Development team to create compelling sponsorship packages and proposals, clearly outlining sponsorship benefits and ROI.
Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with sponsors, ensuring regular communication and follow-up to foster long-term partnerships.
Event Support: Work closely with the Events team to match sponsors with relevant opportunities, ensuring sponsorships align with event goals and objectives.
Contract Management: Assist in managing sponsorship agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and properly documented.
Reporting & Feedback: Track sponsorship metrics, compile reports on sponsorship performance, and gather sponsor feedback for continuous improvement.
Time Commitment: 5-6 hours per week
Requirements:
Interest in sales, sponsorship outreach, or nonprofit development, with a focus on event sponsorship.
Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, nonprofit management, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building and sponsor engagement.
Organizational skills to manage multiple sponsor relationships, proposals, and deadlines effectively.
Ability to create persuasive, professional sponsorship materials tailored to potential sponsors.
Experience in event sponsorship, sales, or a similar role is a plus.
This unpaid internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit sponsorship while building professional networks in business, finance, tech, and media industries.
