Regional Program Manager (Unpaid)

Position Overview:
The Regional Program Manager will lead a team of Program and Mentorship Coordinators to organize and execute community and workplace events in cities across designated regions. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Program Manager will ensure events align with InventHER’s mission, fostering community engagement and workplace participation. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced in event logistics, and skilled at collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Regions Needed: Northeast, Southeast, South, Midwest, and West US

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshops & Curriculum Development: Collaborate with leadership to create content and career coaching for college women in consulting, tech, and media.

  • Workplace Program Development: Design programs to improve women’s workplace experiences and advancement opportunities.

  • Community Events: Organize local and virtual networking and mentorship events for the InventHER community.

  • Large-Scale Events: Plan conferences, workshops, and panels focused on career growth for women.

  • Partnerships: Work with external partners to co-host events that align with InventHER’s mission.

  • Team Leadership: Guide Program and Mentorship Coordinators, ensuring effective event execution and professional growth.

  • Budget Oversight: Manage budgets to ensure financially sustainable event planning.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs to assess event success and improve future strategies.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with teams, partners, and vendors for smooth event coordination.

  • Reporting: Present post-event feedback to identify successes and improvement areas.

Time Commitment: 8-10 hours per week

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a corporate role

  • 1+ years in program management, event planning, or nonprofit operations, with experience leading regional events

  • Proven leadership abilities with team mentoring experience

  • Strong project management skills for handling multiple events, budgets, and resources

  • Excellent communication skills for public representation, team coordination, and reporting

  • Experience managing budgets with a focus on cost-effective planning

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, public policy, or related field
