IOS Developer (Unpaid)
Position Overview:
As the iOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing an iOS app for InventHER. This app will serve as a platform to connect and empower our community of young women leaders. You’ll collaborate with the InventHER team to ensure the app is user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with our mission. You will also create new features, including a Careers and Events tab where users can explore opportunities and sign up for events, as well as a Join Us link for volunteers, a Published Articles section, and a Resources tab.

Key Responsibilities:
App Development:
Design and develop a functional and visually appealing iOS application for InventHER.
Create and implement tabs for Careers and Events where users can explore roles and sign up for upcoming events.
Develop a Join Us link for volunteers to connect and contribute to InventHER.
Add a Published Articles section to highlight key insights and updates from the InventHER team.
Build a Resources tab to provide access to helpful guides, tools, and content for our community.
Project Management:
Manage the app development process, including timelines and deliverables.
Regularly update the team on progress and challenges.
User Experience and Design:
Ensure the app is intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly.
Implement a clean and modern design aligned with the InventHER brand.
Integration:
Integrate features such as user profiles, event registration, and notifications.
Ensure the app is compatible with backend systems or APIs as needed.
Learning and Growth:
Stay up-to-date with iOS development best practices.
Utilize mentorship and training opportunities provided by the InventHER team to grow technical skills.
Time Commitment: 5-6 hours per week
Requirements:
Basic programming experience in Swift and/or other relevant languages.
Familiarity with iOS development frameworks and tools (e.g., Xcode).
Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of the project.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
An eye for detail and design to create a polished and functional product.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with backend development (e.g., Firebase, Node.js, or others) is a plus but not required.
