Graphic Designer

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to create visually compelling and on-brand designs across digital and print media to elevate our organization’s presence and support marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with our mission to empower women through creative innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Development: Design visually compelling and brand-aligned materials for digital and print, including social media graphics, email campaigns, marketing collateral, website elements, and event materials.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all design outputs maintain InventHER’s visual identity and align with brand guidelines across platforms and marketing channels.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute design strategies that enhance campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop creative assets that support organizational initiatives, events, and programs.

  • Design Execution: Translate concepts into polished designs while incorporating feedback from the marketing team, leadership, and stakeholders.

  • Trend & Industry Awareness: Stay informed on current design trends, tools, and best practices to produce innovative and high-impact visual content.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high creative standards.

Time Commitment: 5-8 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a marketing or creative agency setting.

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects, with an emphasis on digital design. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of current design trends, techniques, and best practices in marketing.

  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or UX/UI design is a plus.

Note: This is an unpaid internship, offering hands-on experience in nonprofit social media management and a chance to network with professionals across business, tech, and media.
