City Program Coordinator - Tailored Programming (Unpaid)
Position Overview:
The Program Coordinator for Tailored Programming will connect with organizations to offer tailored solutions and lead workshops that drive structural changes supporting women’s advancement in the workplace. This role involves engaging with workplace leaders, managing logistics, and ensuring smooth execution of workshops that align with InventHER’s mission to empower young professional women. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator will help foster impactful change and lasting organizational improvement. Ideal candidates are organized, communicative, and experienced in workshop facilitation and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
Workplace Outreach: Engage with companies to offer solutions and coordinate workshops focused on structural changes for gender equality.
Workshop Oversight: Assist in planning, executing, and evaluating workshops, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
Team Collaboration: Work with the Program Manager to ensure cohesive delivery of interventions that align with broader strategic goals.
Strategic Implementation: Support the execution of strategies that drive engagement and uphold the organization’s mission for workplace equity.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics such as venue setup, vendor coordination, and on-site workshop management.
Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), gathering insights to inform future workshops.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with workplace partners and vendors to ensure effective collaboration.
Problem Solving: Address any logistical or operational issues during workshops, ensuring minimal disruption.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all activities comply with legal, safety, and organizational standards.
Reporting: Contribute to post-workshop reports summarizing outcomes, improvements, and recommendations.
Time Commitment: 3-4 hours per week
Requirements:
4-6 months of experience in a corporate setting.
Strong organizational skills, with experience managing logistics and resources across multiple projects.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
Basic experience in budget management and cost-effective planning.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and representing the organization.
Problem-solving ability to manage challenges during event execution.
Familiarity with compliance, safety regulations, and risk management in event settings.
Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, management, STEM, or related fields).
