Chief of Staff (Unpaid)
Position Overview:
The Chief of Staff (CoS) will be a key member of InventHER’s leadership team, working closely with the founders and other functional area leaders to drive the successful implementation of our strategic vision.
The CoS will be responsible for ensuring alignment across InventHER’s leadership team, coordinating key initiatives, and supporting organizational efficiency. This role will help codify and refine the strategic plan, ensuring that teams are effectively working towards common goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Work with leadership to codify, refine, and implement InventHER’s long-term strategic goals.
Leadership Alignment: Ensure executive leadership is aligned on organizational priorities and that all teams are working towards common objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison across teams, ensuring that key initiatives are moving forward and issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Operational Efficiency: Help identify opportunities for operational improvements and work closely with leadership to streamline processes across the organization.
Team Coordination: Support and coordinate leadership meetings, ensuring actionable outcomes and clear accountability for strategic initiatives.
Strategic Communications: Assist in communication of the organization’s strategy and goals to the broader team, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Project Management: Oversee key cross-functional projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with broader strategic objectives.
Leadership Support: Provide high-level support to the founders, ensuring they have the tools, information, and resources needed to effectively lead the organization.
Performance Tracking: Help establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the progress and impact of strategic initiatives.
Time Commitment: 8-10 hours per week
Requirements:
2+ years in a strategic, operations, or leadership support role, ideally within a corporate or nonprofit setting.
Holding a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, management, nonprofit management, or a related discipline.
Experience managing strategic projects, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving organizational initiatives.
Strong commitment to gender equity and women’s empowerment, with knowledge of key issues.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to think strategically while also managing the details of execution.
